We are your hosts, Gabby & Gerry Tamayo.
Originally from Florida, we visited the area in 1997 and immediately knew we had found our new home in the Gila. It took some time for us to leave the comfort zone of our jobs with the postal service and civil engineering, but we finally made the move.
The Mimbres area is rich in history and outdoor activities, so our passion for archaeology and Native American history was a natural fit. It has been a dream of ours since our very first visit to open a bed and breakfast and be able to share the beauty of the area with visitors while expanding the love for the area ourselves – and here we are! Come join us as we live a dream!

I'm Tokayla – Kayla for short – your resident Catahoula Leopard dog. I am extremely well behaved and love lots of attention.
I graduated at the top of my class from puppy kindergarten and basic obedience at our local humane society but I love to play – and I am an expert fetcher!
I look forward to meeting you and spending time with you around the fire pit looking at the stars.
